The Community Collaboration Project engages tenth-grade students in a hands-on learning experience through which they identify and address local community needs in partnership with community organizations. Through research, collaboration, and project execution, students develop critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills while evaluating the impact of their efforts on the community. The project encourages students to reflect on social responsibility, evaluate project outcomes, and propose improvements, thereby deepening their understanding of civic engagement and collaboration.

Community Scavenger Hunt (Digital)

Students participate in a community scavenger hunt using web searches, AI searches, and phone calls to identify community needs. Once a credible list of potential projects is identified, students will visit sites in person for further evaluation and report back to the class.
