Learning Goals
By the end of this project, students will be able to:- Students will be able to identify and analyze pressing community needs.
- Students will be able to research and select a local community organization whose mission aligns with their identified need and desired impact.
- Students will be able to develop a collaborative project proposal outlining their plan to address the chosen need in partnership with the selected organization.
- Students will be able to execute their collaborative project with the community organization.
- Students will be able to measure and evaluate the impact of their project on the community organization and reflect on their learning experience.
- Students will be able to communicate their project process, outcomes, and reflections effectively through a chosen medium (e.g., presentation, report, documentary).
- Students will effectively communicate with members of the public, and use critical thinking skills to help them evaluate opportunities to collaborate.
