Entry Events
Events that will be used to introduce the project to studentsThe Mysterious Weather Machine
A large, unusual box arrives in the classroom labeled "Weather Machine - Do Not Open!". Inside are various tools (thermometer, rain gauge, art supplies) and a letter from a 'Professor Cloud' asking for help understanding weather to fix his malfunctioning machine, sparking curiosity and setting the stage for weather exploration. The Great Weather Rescue
A group of stuffed animals is "stuck" in different weather scenarios (sunny, rainy, snowy). Students must learn about different weather conditions and create solutions to rescue the animals using their understanding of weather-appropriate clothing, shelter, etc.Portfolio Activities
Portfolio Activities
These activities progressively build towards your learning goals, with each submission contributing to the student's final portfolio.Weather Dress-Up Drama
